SSC GD Constable 2018 Application Process Closed | Here’re the Details


Staff Selection Commission has closed the SSC GD Constable 2018 exam application process on 30th September. The process of payment of examination fee is also closed by the SSC. Now candidates will have to wait for the further announcement of the Commission regarding any new update for the examination. Here are the complete details of SSC GD Exam 2018.

SSC GD Constable 2018 Exam Application Closed

Staff Selection Commission closed the registration process for the GD Exam on the last day of September. This was the extended last date for the application process. The last date for the payment of the examination fee for the GD exam. All the candidates who have paid the fee till 3rd October will have to wait for the further notification regarding the exam dates for GD Exam.

Earlier in the mid-September, Staff Selection Commission extended the last date for the submission of application form online on the website of SSC. The actual last date to submit the application form was 17th September but later on, it was extended to 30th September due to some technical issues faced by the candidates during the application process.

SSC GD Constable 2018 Exam

Staff Selection Commission released the detailed notification for the GD Exam in July. The process of application was scheduled to begin from the same month but due to a technical error in the website, it was postponed to September. SSC conducts the GD Constable Exam for the filling of Constables (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), NIA & SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles (AR).

This year Staff Selection Commission invited applications from the male candidates and female candidates for the total 54953 vacancies. The vacancies in SSC are for the various forces including BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, AR, NIA and SSF. As per the SSC notification for GD Exam, there are 47307 vacancies for male and 7646 vacancies for female.
