Last month BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) launched the prepaid recharge plan 151 for its users. The plan is also known as teh BSNL Abhinandan 151 recharge plan. Now the state-run telecom operator has revised the plan and started offering 500MB extra data over the allocated data usage limit. Earlier the same plan was offering 1GB data per day but now after the revision, it offers 1.5GB data per day.
BSNL is now offering 50% more data in the 151 recharge plan. With this update now the plan matches with the Jio prepaid plan 149 in terms of data benefit. But if we compare the validity then it is still behind as the Jio 149 recharge plan offers 28 days validity.
BSNL 151 Recharge Plan Details
Coming to the details of the BSNL plan 151, the plan is a combo pack that gives free calls, data and SMS. In terms of calling benefits, this BSNL prepaid recharge plan offers unlimited calling to anywhere in India without any calling limit. All roaming incoming and outgoing calls are also free in this plan. Apart from calling, there are also 100 free SMS per day in this pack.
Moving to the data benefits, this prepaid recharge plan of BSNL offers 1.5GB data per day. Earlier the same plan was offering 1GB data per day. But thanks to the revision now it offers 500MB more data per day. The data usage in this plan is unlimited. Once the user consumes the 1.5GB data, the speed reduces to 40 Kbps but it remains free. This plan is perfect if you are a BSNL user and looking for a monthly plan.
Jio 149 & BSNL 151 – What’s The Difference
Now as the data usage limit is increased to 1.5GB per day, the plan matches with the Jio 149 plan. Now, what is same in the plan and what is different? The answer is everything is same except the validity. Both the plans offer unlimited calling and free 100 free SMS per day. Data usage is also the same i.e 1.5GB per day. In terms of validity, the 151 plan of BSNL 24 days while Jio offers 28 days validity.
