Oppo Reno Series Launching in India This Month, Check Launch Date & Specs

Oppo Reno series will soon debut in India. This new series of smartphones under the Reno series is coming to India in the last week of May i.e this month, The Chinese smartphone maker has started sending out media invites for the launch event. The media invites confirms the launch of the new Oppo Reno Series in India.

To recall, Oppo launched the Oppo Reno, Oppo Reno 10X Zoom Edition and the Oppo Reno 5G smartphone last month in China. The biggest highlight of the Reno smartphone is the side swing selfie camera which is the latest feature after the pop-up selfie camera. This not only packs the selfie camera but also the earpiece, soft light, and the rear flashlight.

Oppo Reno Series Launch Date in India

According to the media invites sent by the Oppo, the new series i.e the Oppo Reno series is launching in India on 28th May 2019. While Oppo’s media invite proves that the Reno series is coming to India, it doesn’t define whether the company will launch only one of the three new smartphones launched in China, or will launch both standard Oppo Reno and 10X Zoom edition in India.

As of now, there are no details regarding the price of the Reno smartphone in India. In China, Oppo Reno has three variants, the first one comes with 6GB RAM+128GB storage and the price for this variant is CNY 2999 which is approximately equal to Rs 30900. The second variant comes with the 6GB RAM+2556GB storage and the price is CNY 3299 which is approximately equal to Rs 34000. The third variant comes with 8GB RAM+256GB internal storage and the price is CNY3599 which is approximately equal to Rs 37100.

Talking about the price of the Oppo Reno 10X Zoom Edition, the 6GB with 128GB variant is priced at CNY 3999 which is equal to Rs 41200. The 6GB RAM with 256GB variant is priced at CNY4499 which is equal to Rs46400. The third variant i.e 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at CNY 4799 which is equal to Rs 49500.

Oppo Reno Specs

Oppo launched the new Oppo Reno series in China last month. In the Reno series, Oppo launches three smartphones and Oppo Reno is one of them. Oppo Reno smartphone comes with a display of 6.4-inches. The screen of the phone is full HD+ and the display is Panoramic AMOLED display. The display of the phone is protected with the sixth-gen Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

Reno by Oppo is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC which is paired with the 6GB and the 8GB RAM. The smartphone runs on the Android Pie operating system with the ColorOS 6. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor on the phone. Moving to the storage of the phone Oppo Rena has the 128GB and the 256GB internal storage.

Moving to the camera specs of the phone, Oppo Reno has a dual rear camera. In the rear camera, one is the 48Mp Sony IMX586 sensor and the other one is a 5MP depth sensor. On the front, there is a 16MP camera for selfies. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The phone has a 3765mAh battery which supports the VOOC 3.0 fast charging.

Oppo Reno 10X Zoom Specs

Coming to the specs of the Oppo Reno 10X Zoom smartphone, this phone has a 6.6-inch panoramic AMOLED display. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 855 SoC. The smartphone runs on the Android Pie operating system with ColorOS 6. There are 6GB and 8GB RAM option on the phone.

The internal storage of the phone is 128GB and 256GB. Talking about the camera of the phone, Oppo Reno 10X Zoom edition has a triple rear camera with one 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor, 13MP secondary sensor and an 8MP tertiary sensor with a super wide-angle lens.
