Redmi Note 7 Pro with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 camera sensor is set to launch in China next week. Redmi President Lu Weibing announced on Weibo regarding the launch of phone on Friday. The new Redmi Note 7 model is said to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor. Redmi Note 7 that was launched in China last month with a 48-megapixel Samsung GM1 sensor and a Snapdragon 660 processor and is coming to India next week. The Redmi Note 7 Pro is also expected to launch in India on February 28.
Redmi Note 7 Pro Launch Date
Weibing in a Weibo post informed that the Redmi Note 7 Pro would be debut in China following week. The executive posted a couple of specs — highlighting the 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 camera sensor of the upcoming variant.
Prominently, Xiaomi teased the evolution of the Redmi Note 7 Pro alongside detailing the Redmi Note 7 last month. The first teaser confirmed the bearing of a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor at the rear of the new Redmi Note 7 variant. If we go by any of the past stories, the Redmi Note 7 Pro will come with a Snapdragon 675 SoC that was launched in October last year with an octa-core Kryo 675 CPU and Adreno 612 GPU. The new chipset is an upgrade of the Snapdragon 670 processor and is based on 11nm LPP process.
As per the Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun the Redmi Note 7 Pro may come with a 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage option. Furthermore, the smartphone is supposed to have a like design and hardware of the Redmi Note 7 that was uncovered in China last month. Meantime, Xiaomi is hosting the Redmi Note 7 launch event in India on February 28. The company may also announce the Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone in this event. Further, a Redmi Note 7 India variant recently taunted with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
