These 11 Xiaomi Smartphone Will Get Android Q Update, Check List Here

Xiaomi always stands in the list of smartphone companies that give the Android Updates regularly to its phones. Well, Xiaomi is also known to give updates of MIUI to its older phones. The latest smartphone Redmi Note 7 Pro runs on the Android Pie update based on MIUI 10 and now it will get the update to the MIUI 11 based on the Android Q.

This smartphone of Redmi will get upcoming updates of MIUI such as the MIUI 11, MIU 12, MIU 13 and so on. The updates will be based on the Android Q. This case is similar to the smartphone such as the Redmi Note 3, Redmi Note 4, Redmi Note 5 Pro and many more. Xiaomi Smartphones to Get Android Q Update

Xiaomi has confirmed that its total 11 phones will get the update to Android Q. The phones in the list include the Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi K20, Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, Mi Mix 2S, Xiaomi Mi 9, Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, Redmi K20 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 8 Fingerprint edition, Xiaomi Mi 8 and Mi 8 Explorer Edition.  Most of these smartphones run on the Android Pie OS while Mi 8 series, Mi Mix 3 and Mi Mix 2S run on the Android Oreo OS.

Some of the phone launched in the year 2018 and 2019 such as the Redmi Y3, Redmi 7 Series smartphones, Redmi Note 6 Pro and so on are missing from the list. But these phones will get an update to MIUI 11 which will be based on the Android Q.

As per the updates, out of all these 11 devices, Redmi Note 7 series and Redmi K20 smartphone will receive the Android Q update in the Q1 2020 while the other will receive the update in the Q4 2019.
