BSNL, the state-owned telecom operator was on a binge of launching new STVs, changing plans and giving more and more benefit to the prepaid users for the sake of tempting in more customers. The telco had also declared that it would focus more on customer-centric offerings. However, with this new change, it seems that although the telco has walked two steps ahead, it has also taken a step back by stating the removal of selected STVs. The telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has discontinued 5 STV’s i.e Plan 549, 561, 2798, 3998 & Plan 4498. Here are the details.
BSNL Plan 549, 561, 2798, 3998 & Plan 4498 Discontinued
The state-run telecom operator BSNL has removed the Plan 549, 561, 2798, 3998 & Plan 4498. The Combo STV plan 549 was offering 2GB data per day and was also offering free PRBT. The plan validity was 60 days. The next plan of BSNL that is discontinued is the Combo STV plan 561. Plan 561 of BSNL was offering 1GB data per day with free PRBT and the validity of the plan was 80 days.
The BSNL Data STV 2798 is also discontinued. This Data 2798 STV was offering 1GB data per day for the validity of 365 days. The next plan of BSNL that is no more is the plan 3998. This plan was offering 1.5GB data per day for 365 days. The last plan is Plan 4498. The plan 4498 was offering 2GB data per day for the period of 365 days.
BSNL also has combo plans that offer free calls, data and SMS. There are three annual plans of BSNL in which the telecom operator is offering free data, calls and SMS for 365 days.
