Vivo S1 To Launch in India on 7th August, Check Expected Price & Specifications

Vivo S1 smartphone will launch in India on 7th August 2019. The launch date is confirmed after the Chinese company started sending out media invites by saying Block your Calendar. To recall, the company launched the smartphone in Indonesia earlier this month and the phone was launched in China in March this year.

Some of the key highlights on the phone includes the full HD+ Super AMOLED display, MediaTek Helio p65 processor and a massive 4500mAh battery. Also, there is a triple rear camera setup at the back. This smartphone will compete against the like of the Redmi Note 7 Pro, Vivo Z1 Pro, etc.

Vivo S1 Price in India (Expected)

As of now, there are no details available regarding the price of the phone in India. This smartphone will be the first smartphone of the company in its S series in India. And the details of the price will be available on August 7th at the launch event. However, the price of the phone is expected to remain the same as the price in Indonesia. In Indonesia, the phone price is IDR 3,599,000 which is roughly equal to Rs 17,800.


Coming to the specifications of the smartphone, the Vivo S1 runs on the Android Pie operating system. The phone features a 6.38-inches full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. There is a waterdrop display notch available on the display. The phone has the MediaTek Helio P65 processor and has 4GB RAM (Indian variants might have 6GB RAM variant).

There is a triple rear camera on the phone with the 16MP primary sensor, 8MP secondary sensor and a 2MP tertiary sensor. On the front for selfies and video calling, there is a 32MP camera. The phone has 128GB internal storage. There is a 4500mAh battery on the phone with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
