MySpeed portal of TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) has released the data of the uploading and downloading speed of telecom operator in the month of January 2019. As per the data, Reliance Jio tops the 4G download speed in January while the Idea Cellular tops the uploading speed in January. 4G Download Speed in January
According to the data published by TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India), Reliance Jio average download speed in January month was 18.8 Mbps. This speed is better than the speed in December month. In December month, Jio recorded average downloading speed of 18.7 Mbps. In the month of January, Airtel recorded average downloading speed of 9.5 Mbps and it is on the 2nd number.
Vodafone recorded the average downloading speed of 6.7 Mbps in the month of January and it is on the third place. The 4th place is grabbed by Idea with the average downloading speed of 5.5 Mbps. In December last year, Vodafone recorded speed of 6.3 Mbps and Idea recorded speed of 6 Mbps.

4G Upload Speed in January
According to the data published by TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India), Idea Cellular recorded the 4G average upload speed in the month of January. Idea recorded 5.8Mbps uploading speed in January. Vodafone recorded speed of 5.4Mbps in January. Jio recorded the average uploading speed of 4.4Mbps while Airtel is on the number four position in terms of average uploading speed. Airtel recorded total uploading speed of 3.8Mbps.
In December 2018, Idea recorded 5.3Mbps average uploading speed, Vodafone recorded 5.1Mbps in December. In December Reliance Jio recorded 4.3Mbps and Airtel recorded 3.8Mbps speed in December.
