Indian CEO of Realme smartphone has said that the Realme 5G phones will be available even before the Indian operators start 5G services. The Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth has said to the reporters that Realme 5G mobile phones are getting ready. However, he has not mentioned the launching date of the phones and has declared that the launching date is not yet clear.
When Will Be the Realme 5G Phones Available in India?
“We will be launching 5G services much before the operators… we want consumers in India to enter 5G services as such,”, said CEO Madhav Sheth. India government is planning to start the fifth generation service from the upcoming year, 2020. The operators will also get to run the trial for a three-month period which is starting from the next month. They also said the trial period can be extended for 3 years if the operators need times in establishing the connection.
Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, and Vodafone Idea are getting ready for the fifth generation service. Realme CEO has said the recent launch Realme 3 has brought in more than 1.70 lakh units sales in less than eight minutes on its first online sale.
On Wednesday, Realme announced the release date of Realme X and Realme X Lite which is applicable in Beijing, Chinese market. It also said that the launching event is for the global users who are eagerly waiting for the new model. These new phones feature 10nm process manufacture Snapdragon 710 SoC, 48-megapixel rear camera along with a 16-megapixel pop-up front camera.
What to Know about Realme?
You may know that Realme has started sub-brand of Oppo and available in other countries like Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines. However, it split from Oppo in July 2018. Realme was among the highest smartphone selling brands in the last year.
